Family-owned, Weaver’s Bee Company has been pollinating fields around BC for 40 years.
With hives placed from the coast to the Okanagan, bees collect nectar from a variety of flowers, enabling the company to offer a wide range of honey flavours – and beeswax – back home in Windermere. The company also brings home fruit from the various orchards it helps pollinate, and sells freshly harvested blueberries, cherries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, and plums. Fruit pollinated by honeybees is, on average, 50% larger than fruit grown without this added boost.
